Is love blind ?

So on fb someone (mino) posted a photo of a pair of old no good boots that she was going to get rid of and I went forth and commented on there and another friend/cousin of hers commented (jed) and then we went forth with disputing on love. Not negatively but jokingly about love and blindness and so forth and I came out with this: 

“No but to be in love with some one or something you have to have an attraction to them and that attraction then turns into persuasion / relationship/ buying the shoes/ car /horse/ or anything it is- first an attraction a “hey look at that/those/her/him” and then from there on out it turns into love. I cant be in love with “blank” if I’m not attracted to “blank”. something draws me to it and that draw is attraction and that can even be applied to “mind sets – or how people think” like i can be attracted to a person not based on looks but based on their thinking process or views on the world or how they treat others. but the key line here is attractions draws which turns into something more.. thus being that love is not blind because you were first drawn to it/thing/item/him/her/ what him her thinks or does or says: so therefore what lead you to love was not the blindness but an clear view of something that triggered attraction in your brain/mind which open the doors to love.”

What do ya’ll think ? I’ve done plenty research on these topics because I want / had wanted to be a relationship psychologist and the biggest aspect in a relationship is love but anyways the prime idea here is that no love is not blind because you were drawn to the thing or person that you are in love with first. you were drawn through a primary sensory: seeing, hearing, tasting, touching ( I may have missed one ..) before it could lead to something else. (i.e. love)

Must say friends I’m pretty proud of myself for being this come-backy. usually I would have been like “no not true” but I actually used some knowledge.

Meet Duke

As you may have read in a previous post I have a new puppy named Duke, he’s a Sibarian Husky.

Heres a picture for added cuteness 🙂

He is seriously the love of my life, who needs a man ? Get a dog 🙂

Maybe these are signs of forever alone ? haha jokes. But seriously with a puppy it’s like your free time is consumed with joy, happiness, playfulness, excitement, all those positive emotions that we need to and should surround ourselves with. Remember people the most important thing in life is to be happy, and that’s through doing what you love and positive happy thoughts. 🙂 and for me that’s a cute  puppy and blogging and driving and riding and jogging and … you get my point 😉

End month recap – GOALS

1) Work out at least 20 days this month I worked out around 20 days this month + my job is physical.

2) Try not to eat when I’m bored (avoid over eating- Be CONSCIOUS). If I was bored and went to go eat I made sure it was fruit or veggies 🙂

3) Pay at least 300$ to debt. By accident – YES ACCIDENT. I paid 480$ !!!!!! Well. I met my goal :p

4) Blog at least 4 times a week. I’ve been blogging like crazy! So many good reads- I HIGHLY recommend you to go read my other blogs 🙂

5) read one book. Yea- I read like 5 pages of a new book. haha

6) Incorporate more GREENS. EVERYDAY all DAY. uhuh Got the Kale so yummy.

7) Save at least 300$ I transferred 420 (ahah 420) to my TFSA for a grand total of 1000$$ 

8) Go see Dutchess more! This is so important to me.  I miss her like crazy. But I just seem to never have enough time to go see her. I want to walk her at least twice a week. Very much disappointing in myself I only seen her about 6 times but Trevor did go see her a couple of times too so I guess that counts.

Review: L.A. Candy

After reading 50 Shades of Grey I really needed to get out of the bad book funk, I had read 3 books that were terrible and when I went to the library I just couldn’t find anything good.

So I picked up Lauren Conrads L.A. Candy which I had for about a year now and had never read. I always do that buy books and never read them but if I rent one I feel pressured to read them quicker and then school books I read a few hours (3am-7am) before a test. Procrastination.

This is the overview :Los Angeles is all about the sweet life: hot clubs, cute guys, designer . . . everything. Nineteen-year-old Jane Roberts can’t wait to start living it up. She may be in L.A. for an internship, but Jane plans to play as hard as she works, and has enlisted her BFF Scarlett to join in the fun.

So I decided to finally read it and it actually turned out so good. I could related to the characters but they tended to be stereotypical and of course there was juicy drama which reminded me of Lauren Conrad’s T.V. show. It gives you an idea of how reality TV shows are and how some things aren’t scripted but are very much edited.  It was very much well put together with things that I could relate too, it was girly and realistic. But obviously fictional. Right now I can’t stop reading her books I’m on the second book which is turning out to live up to the first one and continued right from where the first book had left off. The first book essentially had no ending, which I was okay with because I had already had the other books.

Overall if you know Lauren Conrad and have seen her show and like it I recommend this book series.

What is black and white all around?

So once again I’m in class listening to my teacher talk about how to construct a proper essay about poodles.  I know someone with a standard poodle, he is huge! And super cute and everything . Cute, My puppy is cute. I have still neglected to upload the new video of her; I have a few finishing touches to put on the video. 

I just got back to subway and I have not eaten and I am starving. I can’t eat cause if you ever have had Subway you know the wrapper is like paper and super noisy and that leads to everyone looking at you. Which then becomes awkward, and I turn red and … I’m starving soon. Writing about this is making me even hungrier.

So I just wrote a Descriptive Paragraph for class and I’ll link it down below. I know if you are reading my blog you don’t want to see school work usually.  But this is just a really good piece of work and if I get a low mark I’m going to flip out. ANYWHO …

                                                  Black and white.

  Dutchess is her name and her pronounced markings are obvious to what type of breed she is; that is of course a Siberian Husky. Her name comes from the inspiration of Kate the Dutchess of Cambridge who is married to Prince William. Set above her eyes are two potent white dots about the size of a quarter, and the tip of her tail is white. She looks like she is ever continuously wearing a mask on her face. As titled she is simply black and white, her colors blend into straight exact lines of fierceness. She is insanely playful and always gives you the, “can I touch it?” face before she grabs something she is not supposed to.  She also rolls onto her back and puts her paws on her nose and remains like that for a bit, until someone scratches her white belly. Her ears seem completely out of proportion to her head; they are white on the inside and black on the outer and when she hears a noise, they turn to the direction it came from.  They stand sky high above the rest of her body allowing awareness to seep over her; she knows where you are and what you are doing most of the time. She is a runner and if you are a squirrel well you better be a better runner. When running she is agile but quick, nothing stops her in her tracks except the sound of a mouth blown whistle; then she halts and gives me the “can I get it?” face. After she does that, I have to put her pink harness back on and bring her on a new path around town in hope that she will forget about the squirrel, and in hope that she won’t see another one. Her playful spirit brings joy to my day, she is the child I do not have, and her graciousness, beauty and lively spirit are part of her wonderful personality and looks. Dutchess is one of a kind and I plan on having her as a companion and as my baby for the rest of her dog years.

So what grade would you give this?

110%  adorable? Of course you would, so this happens when we has a choice to write about whatever we want to. Now that schools done I’m going to go do my daily workout, because I’m still trying to get rid of that Christmas weight I gained, Anyone else with me on that one? So this is where I’m going to go sign up for soccer and all that fun stuff just in hopes to shed of a few pounds.

On the not so bright side my house is under repairs.Waa. I want to go home and just relax. Sipping on a tea. Reading L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad. Have some music playing the back ground, my puppy sleeping on the floor: Perfection. And all this, all of it has been missing for some time now, about 2 months everything has sucked balls. People I want to go back to my home, I hate renovations!
